Support for Schools

How can we help?

We offer one off or regular contracted school support (half-day or full-day per week), which can be arranged on a termly basis, with no long-term commitment.  Discounted rates are available for schools booking ongoing sessions—please get in touch for pricing details.

Time in school can be used flexibly to support Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN) at a universal, targeted, and/or specialist level, depending on the needs of the school. This may focus on one or more of the following areas, depending on the contracted time and your priorities:

Strategy and Planning
Assessment and Screening

  • Develop your school's approach to screening Speech and language screening across the school.

  • Individual assessments and reviews.​

Therapy and Coaching

  • Providing speech therapy as outlined in EHC Plans.

  • One-to-one therapy sessions.

  • Support with adapting the curriculum to meet children’s needs.

  • ​Staff Support: providing support and coaching to adults to meet the needs of students with SLCN.

Expert help with developing:

  • Whole-School SLCN Overview: Assessing the school’s current approach to identify strengths and areas for improvement, such as identifying SLCN, staff skills in supporting SLCN. 

  • Strategic Planning: Helping schools create and embed policies, processes, and interventions to better support children with SLCN.​

Collaboration
Training

  • Working together with NHS therapists.

  • Ongoing communication with parents.

  • Customised training tailored to your staff and school's needs.

  • Workshops and training sessions designed for parents.

  • Equipping teachers and support staff to create inclusive, supportive environments.

Environmental Support

  • Helping schools create communication-friendly environments to support children with SLCN. Tailored recommendations for individual classrooms or whole-school improvements. These strategies ensure all children, especially those with communication needs, feel supported and able to succeed.
